Michael's not confirmed, as far as I'm aware, but I know some fans believe a character that's been cast is really Michael. We'll see, I suppose.

Ah I interpreted all the chatter as confirmed, I suppose it could even be a red herring if the fan hope is that Tom Ellis will play both Lucifer and Michael?

Perhaps it is best that I get it wrong and then I'll be all pleasantly surprised.

I sort of hope it's not Michael because the bloke in question looks so boring.

But maybe they're going with 'boring bureaucrat' as Michael's personality, who knows?
