Also a confession - I am a poor one to have on your flist [livejournal.com profile] charmax and [livejournal.com profile] bradcpu I owe you both feedback and once I get back from this weekends family outings I will post some, sorry for taking so long - real life is just getting in the way.

I see overlays in there and they look great. Did you manage to get that WMM tutorial to work for you? I have no idea how you can do fast cutting in that program. I take my hat off to you for your patience.

I'm not a huge Smashing Pumpkins fan but those lyrics are just perfect for Illyria. It's a great choice for showing how imperious she can be.

Thanks for the fb Charmax, all done with WMM - the overlay method is not as flexible as Adobe (obviously) as it means chopping up one long clip if you want to run it over several others or vice versa. As for the fast cutting I reallly slapped WMM about this time but she fought back and wa s very, very awkward. There is no clip locking facility so it is so easy to knock everything out of sequence in this linear editing. I also found some more speed and colourisation add ons for WMM which were very useful.

I got another gig of memory for my birthday so I am going to see if it helps with running adobe because I don't think my nerves will take another vid edited like this in WMM.

As for the song - not my usual choice but I felt so violent and full or arrogance that I got the Illyria vibe straight away. As for the lyrics - I worked to a copy off the net and it wasn't until I rechecked before publishing lyrics on my site that I found the whole first verse and part of the chorus were wrong in my original draft and the cirrect words changed the meaning entirely. Oh well, such is life.

Anyways I ramble - thanks for watching.
