New Art - James Marsters as Spike

It's been a while since I posted any new original art so here's the latest.  James as Spike - I started, did about two thirds of this sketch when I was on holiday, anticipating lots of free evening time. As things worked out, it was far better to laze around and do nothing drink wine  so I finished it off this week. 

  All things being equal I'll be able to ask James to sign it at the Convention at Halloween :D   Nick Brendon is also due to appear so I'll start on his one next - right after I finish the Dr Horrible montage from the last Con...

Wow, that's really cool! Can I ask what medium you used for that? I can't quite tell..... pencils or pastels?

Thanks pleased you liked it - For this one I used Caran D'Ache water soluble pencils - they're quite soft for blending - but a disaster if they get wet ;)

Oh, I've never worked with pencils like those, just regular pencils.... I guess I need to try out water soluble pencils cause I don't quite like the way pencils blend or don't blend easily XD

And I have to say, your icon is made of win LMAO "And the award for the worst haircut goes to.... David Boreanaz XD"

All that 'big' hair looks like the 90's ;)

I didn't make that icon but I love it so much...
