Ok So this is a quick meme I saw over at mara_sho  journal  so yeah, I thought I'd do that.

 

 Favourite Traditional Carol  - Shepherds Farewell by Berlioz 

I cant listen to this without goosebumping or welling up. We sang it in my senior school and I have loved it ever since.  Not really a common carol so second choice is 'Joy to the World' . 

 Favourite 50s/Swing-type Christmas song (I can't think of a better name for the category either...)

Santa Baby performed by Eartha Kitt. Sums up the true meaning of Christmas - expensive gifts.

 Favourite Modern Christmas song

Fairy Tale of New York - The Pogues and Kirsty McColl - Any christmas song that includes the lyrics 'you scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy faggot' has got to be at the top!!    Also partial to Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses.

 Favourite Christmas movie

Wonderful Life  followed close by the 1951 version of Scrooge starring Alistair Sim.  Wonderful Life is fantastic and always makes me cry. 

 I really don't spend the entire holidays bawling by the way, most of it is spent eating and drinking. 

Also I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has sent me a card so far. It has been a real buzz getting them all.
