New Vid - 'Sing' Once More, With Feeling BtVS

Title: Sing
Source:  Buffy Episode Once More, With Feeling (including the previously teaser at the beginning)
Music: Sing by Travis  Lyrics
Length: 3mins 56sec
Description: For the love you bring, won't mean a thing, unless you sing, sing, sing, sing. Episodic of Once More, With Feeling.
Download  Tiny WMV 14.1mB     Med AVI 89mB    HQ AVI 194mB

Embed under the cut

Notes: I used clips from the episode and the 'previously on BtVS scenes' shown just before the titles roll. This musical episode really is a tour de force. A strong reminder of why I love this show so much.  The song was earmarked for vidding for over three or four years. Yes I know from the title it's the bleedin' obvious, but the lyrics seemed to reflect the sorrow that runs throughout.   I was always wary (until now ) of vidding this episode,  when there is such strong tie to other (fantastic) music - but I gave it a shot anyway because I am foolish.   Pleased with the outcome  and I hope you ejoy it too. Feedback loved.

Awesome video. I can't even imagine how hard it was to limit your choice of scenes to one episode. But OMWF is definitely the episode worthy of a separate clip. The choice of the song is truly inspired, and the editing is flawless.

Kudos!

Thanks so much :) Sometimes an episodic vid is a real challenge and makes you work harder, but can be fun. In this case though, like you say there's definitely so much to work with here so I found nearly everything I wanted.

Great vid! I love how you really used this music to its full potential - everything just fit together so well. Watched it on the HDTV at home with hubby - he loved it, too.

thank you! Glad to hear that your hubby enjoyed it too - especially since you said he was a big fan of the episode.

The song felt right with the mood I wanted to emphasise so I pressed ahead. Took me a long while to find the right one so I am pleased you thought it fit.

Ooh, this was awesome - as soon as I realised what song it was I knew it could be done well, and this really was. It's totally an intimidating thing to vid this particular episode but you definitely pulled it off! Nice one. :)

Thank you so much. I'm delighted you thought the vid worked, I wouldn't hve tried with any other song to be honest.

I watched your video this morning before I went to work and I had Travis stuck in my head all day- which is not a bad thing at all!

Great selection of clips, and I love the way they all come together so perfectly. Really, really, really liked the alarm clock moment at the start. Fantastic stuff!!

Thanks alot for the feedback - The Travis song has been on the list so long it really did deserve to be made.

The ringing sound at the beginning of the track also reminded me of the alarm clock start of OMWF when the idea first struck, so I just wanted to get it in there.
