Wonderfalls - WONDERFUL!
Jul. 6th, 2005 10:12 amBrief entry here, we actually found time to sit down and watch Wonderfalls last night. Having only heard a little of the premise most of it was new to me and we chortled and snickered through the whole episode.
How brilliant is this show?? So very different yet little snippets reminded me of the humour in Dead Like Me and Malcolm in the Middle - I want a mooshy faced lion, I want the singing monkey. The poor delivery guy with his pen tracheotomy getting his sponge bath, the mother saying she had a 'sode' and the fathers orgasm comment. OMG how funny was that??
Well this just kind of confirms what complete idiots Fox are. To produce such shows as Firefly and Wonderfalls and then bin them before a full season is shown. WTF??? And how can poor Tim Minear carry on after the cancellation of 'The Inside'
I think I may need to buy the DVD sets because I am sure there were parts of the episode I missed because I was laughing so much. So we have WOnderfalls to watch (briefly) then Deadwood starts Sunday (bring on the cussin' and the shootin' yeehaw) and hopefully we may get some Veronica Mars and Lost.
