Fandoms collide - Deadfly

New header - Deadwood. Can't wait for Season 3 to start, I think I have months to wait though. I love the show, the language doesn't bother me, and to be honest I think it is the only show around that get's close to the quality of Whedon.

There are similarities between this and Firefly, the western theme and score, great characters, the bad language and I believe Zach Whedon, a half brother of Joss, is David Milch's assistant. My husband adores both shows equally, delighted with the Deadwood Soundtrack he got for his Birthday. There is an incredible track on this album called 'Hog of the Forsaken' where the singer makes every attempt (or not) to hit the high notes and fails in such a sublime way, it is a wonder to hear. If I can prise the CD out his hands I may put it up. He also would like me to make a crossover fan vid called 'Deadfly' - I kid you not. I suggested 'Firewood' but he's not keen. Hmm I think that may take some mulling over to say the least.

I've been working on a Cordelia Chase vid for spring_of_cordy To my shame, I have used a song that I know has been vidded a million times over (next I'll be doing a Dancing vid and then one with outtakes to complete Vidding 101) , although in my defence I haven't seen a Cordy one to this song. I didn't want to tackle anything that would tax me too much otherwise it just wouldn't happen. It will be on my site next week once I've posted it to the community. Then onto Wash & Book artwork for the signing at the end of the month *squee*
