Vidding Year Round Up Meme
Dec. 31st, 2010 12:15 pmIt's that time to dust off the Vidding Meme and review this year's output/progress.
If you're curious here are the previous entries
2006 2007 2008 2009
Can you believe this is the fifth year? In reality I've been producing vids of sorts since Summer 2004 but was not on LJ so there's no details, but to summarize I was fairly prolific, hadn't learnt much about vidding (aspect ratios and WMM? ugh) but I'm still fond of some of those early pieces.
Anyhow on to this year:
January - 'If It Gives You Joy' - Whedonverse montage made for More Joy Day.
February - 'Underdog' - Firefly Capt Mal Reynolds Character study
March - 'Alive' - House of Flying Daggers - Jin and Mei Relationship vid
April - 'Slayer'- Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Slayer action experimental.
June - 'In Noctem' - Harry Potter - Overview of Six films focusing on Harry's loss.
August - 'Queen Bitch' - Angel the Series - Lilah Morgan character study
September - 'Plug In Baby' - Matrix Trilogy - Trinity Action character study
October - 'Happy Together' - Supernatural - Dean & Impala fun crackish
- 'Oh My God' - Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Season Six overview heavy on the angst.
November - 'Those Were The Days' - Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel The Series crossover - Fanged Four silent movie style.
December - 'What I Want for Christmas' - Film multifandom Christmas vid.
Eleven Vids and only two below 2.00 minutes in length so I guess they're classed as vidlets. One less than last year but I am really content with what I've produced this year. I felt very much the same after 2009 vids, so that puts me in a very happy place right now with my vidding. I've always vidded primarily for myself and if I enjoy them and some others do too then the job's a good'un.
( How I saw those vids this year )
If anyone has any questions about the vids I'd be very happy to talk about them....
