Happy New Year One and All!

So I almost managed it. Escape the family head cold throughout the holiday time but it caught up with me on New Year's Eve. Not early enough to stop me drinking/celebrating/hootenannying  with the furious five (my youngest brother, sister in law and their three kids)  wreck our house and have a good time. Mum and my eldest brother were due over too but Mum was ill and they stayed put. 

We just got a day left now to calm down and get ready for normal life to resume.

I was looking at all the fandom year end Meme's but figured I didn't have a lot to say as there's only been two new shows I dallied with one good (Game of Thrones) , the other at the moment decidedly meh (Once Upon a Time).  I will say that I am looking forward to all the whedonian output this year, The Avengers, Much Ado, the possibility of Dr Horrible (bit optimistic with that one)  and funny enough Cabin in The Woods ,although I don't usually do straight out horror films. I'm avoiding all trailers and teasers from now on. 

And also just to say new Sherlock last night? - Best. tv.ever. Good grief I loved it to bits.  I expected to enjoy it but not want to watch again immediately.  I may even have to get a Sherlock icon.
