Andy Hallett passed away on March 30th -RIP Andy. I am truly saddened by this, you'll be missed. (Andy at the Hyperion Convention in June 2004)
I had the great pleasure of meeting Andy at quite a few conventions, his Mother too chatting in the bar and of course hearing him sing on many occasions. A true entertainer, witty and talented, making sure that he gave his all to the fans who were there.
He once did over 1000 photoshoots in full Lorne makeup in a single session so that everyone who wanted a photo could get one, he had the funniest anecdotes, organised an impromptu Tattoo auction for charity , improvised during a set on stage so we wouldn't pay attention to a kerfuffle that had broken out in the hall - the stories are cherised and endless. Condolences to his friend and family.
