Not the best weekend ever

thedothatgirlWell at least I've made it through five days since.
Last Friday evening our beloved cat Ziggy died. He'd been diagnosed with Kidney failure earlier this year and honestly from the vet's comments, we didn't think he'd make it through the summer. Despite severe weight loss (and he was thin already) he kept going and still had quality of life, eating ok, sitting with us and really enjoying the late autumn sun in the garden. Then sudden deterioration Thursday. If you know us, you'll understand how much we love our boy. At 15years he'd outlived all our other Siamese cats, a huge part of picking this house was based on how safe/good it would be for them. As much as I love having a pet I think J & I are going to resist any pleas to get another kitten. But don't be shocked if you find pictures posted next year when we cave in to pressure.
