Attempt to post #2
Starks all around at the moment. Starks of Winterfell and Tony Stark. Up to book 4 of A Song of Fire and Ice, this one is a bit slower than the others but still good. Easy to read too.
Rewatching GoT season 1 - along with BtVS Season 4 and AtS S1 alongside each other. Can't wait for GoT to start in April.
Totally underwhelmed by the new shows I started watching and hanging onto SPN by the skin of my teeth - has it been renewed for Season 8 yet? Gah the last two eps have been really bleugh.
There, that's about it for now. Attempt to post #1 was longer - perhaps I'll come back later and expand.

Date: 2012-02-22 07:40 pm (UTC)I do understand what you mean though - I picked up 2 & 3 at Christmas and breezed straight into four in a matter of weeks. I think if I had to wait a few years I'd most likely have to re-read the whole saga as I tend to forget little things.
There was a point however where I thought all my favourite characters were going to be toast, so I'm pleased a few are still about.
SPN just doesn't have the ensemble cast to keep me interested especially not after this season anyway. The reappearance of Lucifer was the highlight of the last ep but when they focus on Dean/Sam angst yet again I get all 'ho hum'.
