Anyone who knows me, is aware that I don't 'do'  extreme gore/ horror. I hate all the franchises - Friday 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm St. ad nauseam -  but I caved in when Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon made The Cabin in The Woods. I should not have laughed so much but I did,  in between all the wincing and flinching of course. As the for the song, I've always thought it was creepy and the more I heard, it seemed to be this film. I would say that I'm sorry, but I am not.  Heed the warnings if you don't like blood,gore,  excessive violence etc or spoilers for films, please avoid like ummm..... a trip to a cabin in the woods.  (Btw my aunt in Canada has a cabin in the woods that looks just like the one in the film, but we never found a hatch to the basement)

I'm not into gore,either, but I just had to see where you were going with that song choice...And, well, I will never be able to listen to the song the same way again--you've made it wonderfully creepy. Brilliant work! :D

Wow. That's completely brilliant and a great fit for the combination of horrible and funny that is the film. (I laughed out loud when Curt hit the invisible barrier in the vid, and then felt bad about it.)

It's a very clever film, if you can get past all the blood, heads & guts flying around. I couldn't resist the song either.
