I'm back and there's so much to do....

Well I'm back after a wonderful holiday - there'll be copious pic spam and tales of Medieval Villages to bore you all later. I did get almost one sketch finished but still have a fair few to get done in less than three weeks (eek)
I'm feeling the cold back home and there is a tower of laundry/ironing that is leaning very much like one I saw in Pisa, although probably far more unstable and less architectually interesting. The cat miaowed himself hoarse and made strange purry gerbling noises for the entire first day back - I think because it was more than a week he probably thought we weren't ever coming home. Aww bless. He has also picked up a huge scrape on his noble little nose and many scabs from the fights he has been getting into. Funny I really missed him this holiday.
I am listing things here mainly for my benefit as I feel if they are written down I stand more chance of doing them.
1.Cut the lawn - it's a jungle out there.
2.Washing
3. Ironing
4. Upload photos & camcorder footage
5. Start on sketches of:
'Badger'
'Kaylee'
'Simon'
'YoSaffBridg'
'Zoe'
6.start panicking about the convention
7. Think about the vid for Soundtrack Vidding Project - Play song and study lyrics.
8.Make new layout for LJ
9.email

Date: 2006-08-30 02:13 pm (UTC)I too am looking at a ridiculously long list of things to do (sadly for work rather than for me) so it's nice to pop in and see that you guys have lists too!! (Callous and strange, remember!)
Great to hear you had a good holiday Andrea. And Sho, how about '10 things to do before you graduate' to add to your list? Lame I know, but all I could think of! (I'm still writing my list of things to do before I'm 30 and have deferred the actual completion of things on the list to my 40th birthday!) Such a list could include handing in at least one piece of non-assessed work on time, visiting any local landmarks which are traditionally visited by students before 6am just so you can say you saw the sunrise there, and any other stuff (including urban legends) that is traditionally seen by students to be part of your uni's 'university experience'.
Anyhoo, having got back from hols on Bank Holiday Monday to be greeted by Italian 'art' (thanks Andrea;)), I'm totally knackered and not at all impressed by the whole work thang when I in fact now need a holiday to recover from two weeks spent playing with niecelets!
I'm stunned at the speed with which Cubed is approaching (remind me to dig out those tickets before we go!!). Is it just me or is this year on fast forward?! Don't know if you guys have seen, but the digest from the Starfury yahoo group tells me that Morena will now be leaving on Sunday morning because of work commitments. Not great news, but at least she's still coming and we have seen her before. Fingers crossed for some special guests, we may not get them, but at least we can hope.
I don't know what to do about Alexis in Liverpool, but if it's decided to be a good plan September is definitely out as I've run out of weekends! Also I may be torn as a friend is having her hen night on what I think is the Adam Baldwin/Collectormania weekend, so it could all go horribly wrong. I will have to explore further to see if juggling the two is possible.
Ok, I'll stop rambling in Andrea's LJ now!!
