Notes: I have, for a long time now,  wanted to edit an action vid featuring the slayers, so when I found this piece it felt right for the mood I wanted to convey so here it is. Comments appreciated.

This is timed and cut just beautifully. The music works perfectly, and strangely, it made me realize how much I had loved this show... and kinda miss loving it madly like that. So, thank you so very much for sharing this. :)

Oh, and the download link made me have a look at the "House of Flying Daggers" vid, which just awed me. That movie has been on my to-watch-list for ages, and that video was just haunting and beautiful and tugs at your heart for all the wrong reasons, so yeah, I will most likely be watching that movie in a bit.

And maybe, just maybe, that also led to a story idea, for which I want to hug you madly now. ;)

Just in case you might be wondering - your vid produced something wonderful. The story it inspired is 24,000 words long and by far the most intense I have ever written. This video is worth a couple of "Holy [expletives]" as well as some general nonspecific hyperbole phrases like "Awesome" and "Epic". On a few specific acknowledgments - WICKED! Spike spinning stick transition at 0:51 (that one is going in on some list of best of something), ace music for subject matter, for some reason loved the Buffy/Faith black & white "getting ready to kick some" with the slight zoom at around 1:08, and love the whole circular spinning movement and Pilates kick action going on.

See you kept your sense of humor at the end.

And thank you so much for your holy expletives I really appreciate them. - I can't take the credit for the Spike stick spinning though, that is straight from the source - episode flashes back and forth in time to a fight and they were kind enough to have that ready made for me to use.

I did want to make it kick ass and chock full of action so I think that came accross :)

Oh Andrea, this is.......beyond the realms of gorgeous. Oh my oh my oh my....it;'s absolutely stunning. What a marvelous concept and it's soooo beautifully done...it makes my BTVS heart leap with love for this show once again. I think this is one of your most amazing videos...it's exquisite to look at, ..all the editing to those beats, the overlays...just...gah..I am running out of language befitting. Soooo...now my brain is just going...wow...wow....WOW! This is one of the best videos I've seen for BtVS...for any fandom...it's simply superb.

WOW! This is one of the best videos I've seen for BtVS... Well I don't know what to say other than to sit here and blush alot and feel wonderful... I don't think you could have said anything nicer. *hugs*

I really wanted to make something a little surreal, experimental and use far more effects than I usually do. The song was a real find , I loved its primeval feel and thought it reflected the first slayer and their power.

I need to catch up and watch your House of Flying Daggers Thanks I hope you like it - I let the beautiful film source do the heavy lifting in that one so it is very different to this - and it's about love / a relationship vid which I don't make that often .

I just finished marathoning it myself a few weeks ago and have been loving it! I think leivathan101 has got to take some of the blame for that with her beautiful vid of the pilot episode but the rest is all bradcpu fault. I must confess there are times when I adore just how beautiful the show is and other times when the plot/wizards drive me batty.

Two things ... Firstly YAY!! you're vidding again - that's great news. I know that you don't work at supersonic speeds but that's because it's going to be sensational. And secondly don't watch Brad's vids when you've got something on the timeline!! Sure fire way to feel lacking - his work is always stunning and I try to check them out in between projects so I have a few days to recover from their magnificence :)

I'm going to try and get up to speed with LoTS in a week or so - I have a ton of artwork that I must do this month so no vidding for a couple of weeks but would have plenty of time to compare notes.
