Random thoughts

Just thought I'd mention my new layout and the inspiration for changing it.

1. The default icon is a real beauty made by the super talented rua1412 - I just love her work and snagged this Capt Jack one immediately and decided to try and make a lj layout to go with. I still think the icon is better than the layout.

2. Just loved the old Loki in Jotunheim theme but I thought if I changed it, it may stop fecking snowing here in the UK.  A few days shy of April and it's still snowing and it's bloody freezing.  WARM UP WILL YOU!

I've been rewatching PoC just for the fun of it. I still have #4 to go - I must admit that I love all of them although I know the later ones come in for some criticism.  Easiest way is to put them into perspective is to watch a really dire film like we did last night -  'Escape from LA' sequel to Escape from New York. Oh Kurt what were you thinking?  Or that matter Steve Buscemi and Peter Fonda?  We laughed like drains at how appalling it was. And the shock I got this morning from ImdB was that it was made in 1996 and John Carpenter? I mean seriously? I still can't erase Stacy Keache's ponytail from my mind.
